In 2010 the Main Street Assoc. brought together a group of businessmen and businesswomen who wanted to bring a Championship caliber BBQ event to Northern Arizona. We brought in promoters from Phoenix who helped us bring in over 30 teams and sanction us as a KCBS event.
With the help of Williams Main Street and Special Olypmics Arizona a prize fund of $10,000 was offered for our first ever contest.
We were happy with our founding sponsors and have offered them another year to work with us on the event. A few weeks ago we were happy to know we have another $10,000 for this years prize fund!
This year the event starts on Friday July 1 and will run through Sunday the 3rd. The KCBS BBQ contest will run from Friday night through Saturday.
This year our group brought in Arlie Bragg from Arlieque Event Management from Nashville, TN. Arlie is a premier promoter for KCBS events! Come join in on the food and fun at our 2nd Annual event.

We are teaming up again this year with Special Olympics Arizona. During the festival teams will be competing for People's Choice where they sell tasters to the public. All tickets are $2 and from the fee $1 goes to Special Olympics Arizona and the other $1 goes to the team to help offset costs. Last year over $10,000 was collected through taste tickets of which SOAZ received half of that! We are hoping to raise that amount and more this year on behalf of SOAZ!!!
